Features of polyethylene pipe fittings:
High elongation at break, good ductility and excellent scratch resistance ensure durability.
Non-toxic material with good toughness and high impact strength, providing reliability in various conditions.
Excellent insulation properties, abrasion resistance and chemical resistance ensure long-term performance.
Good thermal insulation performance and minimal medium flow resistance improve efficiency.
The installation is convenient and economical, ensuring safety and reliability during use.
Polyethylene pipe fittings construction precautions:
In cold climates (below -5 degrees) and windy conditions, take maintenance measures or adjust the joining process to ensure proper bonding.
Use corresponding special heating machines according to different interface methods, and do not use open flames to heat pipes and polyethylene fittings.
Use pipes and fittings of the same brand and matching performance for fusion connection to ensure compatibility. Pipes and fittings with similar performance must be tested and qualified before construction.
Before connecting polyethylene pipes and fittings, check them according to the design requirements and ensure that they meet the specifications. Before starting construction, check the main inspection items such as product pressure level, surface quality and overall matching product quality.
Advantages of electrofusion pipe fittings:
The electric melting process is fully automated, making the operation simple and safe.
Has good hygienic properties.
The high strength of electric fusion welding basically ensures the consistency of the interface material and structure between the PE pipe system and the pipe itself, realizes the high integration of pipe fittings and pipes, ensures that the interface is leak-free, the connection is reliable and has no hidden dangers, and is very durable.
Good corrosion resistance and long life.
Small friction coefficient and low resistance.
Has good flexibility and scratch resistance.
Good resistance to crack growth.
Has good welding performance.
Low installation cost, high efficiency and stable quality.
The installation process is not restricted by environment and space.
Connection Instructions for Electric Fusion Composite Pipe Fittings:
The polyethylene pipes and welded pipe fittings in the gas station composite pipe system are connected by electric fusion welding. Since this method is less affected by climate, it is suitable for on-site installation at gas stations. However, during the welding process, the welding site should be kept dry and clean. When welding, the ambient temperature should be between -15ºC and +45ºC (+5ºF to +113ºF). At lower temperatures, it can only be carried out under the condition of stable temperature and increased protective measures. The principle of electric fusion welding is to heat the resistance wire under the inner surface of the welding pipe to a certain temperature (about 200ºC) and melt the polyethylene (PE) material inside and outside the pipe. Due to the slow heat transfer speed of polyethylene, only the material close to the resistance wire is melted. Under the action of temperature and pressure, the polyethylene in the melted area expands, and the surrounding low-temperature polyethylene material prevents the continued expansion of the melted area. In this way, the pipes are welded together evenly and firmly. When using a welding machine, the required power, heating and welding time are automatically calculated. Other welding machines cannot be used.
